Morbegno, located at the entrance to Valtellina, 248 m. above sea level, is less than 100 Km. from the administrative centre of Lombardy and is at the centre of a territory which is full of natural beauties which are still intact. The town bears artistic witness to the past in a historical centre which has preserved unmistakable features.
In the immediate neighbourhood of Morbegno, Costiera dei Cech is worth a visit: it is a natural oasis full of interesting historical evidence and where numerous species of animals live undisturbed.
